Sketches of Banditos!

so, i am scrapping my personal challenge to post vector art. But, it's for really good reasons that i can't yet talk about due to NDA. so here are some unrelated sketches of banditos that i did recently.
by the way, comic con was completely and utterly nuts. but i had a great time and met some really amazing artists and folks. maybe i can get in on someone's table next year.

Progress on my next vector character

more vector character art

i know i shouldn't say this (but i can always delete it later and pretend i never said anything) but i'm going to try and post a new vector piece every day for the next 30 days except for a couple of days next week during the comic con (woo-hoo!)
(UPDATE {7-21-2008}: i figured i wouldn't be able to keep up. i'm going to try and post one whenever i have a chance....)

The California Corpses Team photo:Zombie League baseball

The California Corpses Team photo:

the Zombie League Baseball

Most of you are probably too young to remember zombie league baseball. Way back after the great war in 2044 when all the fallout and space dust raised the dead, the zombies formed their own baseball league to counter the discrimination that was widespread throughout the earth. Great teams like the cadavers, the dead guys & the former senators were some of the best. here are some sketches from that era.
i'll be loading some baseball cards later in the week and will have a contest so stay tuned...

first broken thumb drawings: robots & zombies

these are the first drawings i've done with my broken thumb. i'm satisfied with them. i'm getting the feeling for the difference in he way drawing feels.
i'm working on some color next. (typing has actually been harder than drawing...)

hi friends & bloggers-check out my x-ray

so i went snowboarding and destroyed my thumb. my drawing thumb at that. so for the next several weeks i will be drawing in squiggle vision. i have to go see a hand specialist tomorrow who will get it back on the right track. i'll post my first drawing after tomorrow... (the snowboarding was super awesome though.)
